I appreciate the audio examples. However, if you're going to demonstrate a summing mixer, probably best to use a full mix with lots of tracks.

They're just putting a marketing spin on an old concept here. If you have an analog console with outboard dynamics inserted in the channel strips, you can control transients and dynamic headroom as you send on fader to your audio interface box that connects to your DAW. Plus you can do the same dynamic manipulation, with multi-band compressors and EQ's, on the "tape returns" back into the analog console and create a summing mix that's DAW ready for 2 track stereo mix down. This is truly a tool and mix concept for "in the box" engineers. It has its place in the market for sure if you're not from the old-school-console-mixing-era. I'm sure there will be a plug-in on the market in a few years that will send the hybrid mixing days into the history books.

Yeh I have the Dangerous 2buss but this has more features than the two buss. I'm really interested in that EQ and a compressore with no Ratio is really interesting.

No channel inserts - AGAIN!!!

There's no point with channel inserts because there's nothing you're inserting at that point. just use your patchbay. That's how you route channel inserts.

is this just a D to A or does it allow you to go A to D?
