It's good, but if we were to be fully fair, it's not as in-depth as Tekken 6 and Tag Tournament 2's options for customisation. So it is kind of a step down. And the new shop isn't making things better.

RTG, if you want to get better at tekken and beat her. I would recommend you do these things to help. Honestly, it wouldn't take much to overthrow her. 1.) Choose a main character to learn first. That way, you get familiar with how they work until you get better at the game. 2) Memorize a couple of 70+ damage combos for that character. You want at least 3 to 4 different ones to mix it up. Optimally, you want at least 85+ damage in this game. Although for a beginner, 70 is good enough. (All characters have 170 health for reference) 3) Learn your quick frame options. Your best options are usually your 10, 12, 13, 14, and 15 frame options. Those are your punishment tools. 4) Understand the different properties of attacks: Highs - usually safe on block but can be ducked. Then launch punished Mids - usually punishable on block in some fashion and must be standing to block. Lows - Can be blocked by down back or parried into a combo. They are always unsafe. You just gotta know when they are going to throw it. Super Armor - they can be grabbed to counter, or you can do a low to counter it. Otherwise, just hold back they are usually unsafe. Grabs- You can break most grabs and duck to punish most of them. Rage Arts - all of them are 14 fame punishable on block. Some are lows, but most are mids. Otherwise, that's all you can really do. Heat - They are all 10 frame super armor mids, and they can be can be countered by grabs. Heat Smash - They are character dependent, so that is something that you will just have to memorize. Hopefully, this helps, although I doubt that you care to actually get better. I just thought I would share.

Of all of the fighting games to see on this channel, Tekken 8 wasn't one of them. I'd thought he was going to UMVC3, with Phoenix Wright. this reminded of me of a time i hopped online (unranked) on KOF 02 UM to see if it still had someone there out of curiosity and i actually found a player and we fought like 20 matches in a row. i mean i knew i sucked at the game, but the player in question proceeded to steamroll me in every single round of those matches.
