I was hyping up Persona 3 but the FromSoftware curse must go on.

I don't think I commented on any of the other videos, but I really enjoyed this series, it takes me back to the old days of KZbin and it makes me so happy to see this kind of content get the attention it's getting

The fact that you fixed up the village really really makes me want to have them add Cherry Blossom Villages with some extra stuff that normally isn't in other villages.

It's not the same, but watching Dan rebuild the village out of incredibly valuable blocks, I'm reminded of a story of Temujin (more famously Genghis Khan) returning home after years of conquest to see his people, who when he was a child wore simple clothes and kept no wealth but their animals, wearing silks and using dishes and knives made of china and ivory. There's something very compelling about the spoils of a life of war in the hands of those who were there for its beginning.

The upheaval comment is really funny to me because that's literally how the game sees it coding wise. Like, the game laid out this nice village design and was like "Cool, time to slap it down somewhere nice" and then just tossed it on to a massive hill which totally destroyed the layout.

Dan im begging you, start another lets play, this has been by far the best Minecraft content on this platform for a hot minute

I'm genuinely over here bawling after finishing this final episode. This series has been a great source of comfort to me in my final ever year of education and watching it come to an end as my own journey comes to an end is oddly poetic. Thank you, Dan, for this amazing series. Here's to the next one! 🩵

I like how the different parts of the village reflect parts of his journey. The Village itself represents the beginning and the wither fight, as well as the raid The different blocks found in the nether represent it The bookshelves and the end stone represent the end The fountain represents the ocean monument And the Iron golem and the juke box represents the deep dark

It's definitely a surprise that RT uses the same weapon class and hairstyle that I do. Hope to see more in the future!!!

Frank didn't know how much time had passed. All he knew was that he wished for the strange man to come back one last time, to release or kill him, it didn't matter anymore. He had lost track of the years a long time ago, but he still thought back to the time his fate was sealed by a stranger speaking in strange tongues. Back then, he at least had work to distract himself with. Trades to make, despite the materials being worth nothing to him. It had kept the man happy, and him busy. Busy from the thoughts he now couldn't escape anymore. Busy from the realisation that he couldn't die, couldn't end his suffering. He had tried, many times. But nothing he did hurt, nothing he did harmed him. Whatever the man had done, he couldn't die by his own hand anymore. So now the years passed, and Frank waited. For what, he didn't know. He had given up hope long ago, he knew nobody was coming. So all he had left now was the knowledge that all things came to an end eventually. Life, Death, Planets, Stars. All he had left now was the fact that the heat death of the universe was inevitable, and maybe, just maybe it would put an end to his suffering. If it didn't, it probably didn't matter. He feared that by the time millions upon millions of years had gone by, there would be nothing left of the man he had once been. Just a husk of a living creature, destined to suffer for all of eternity. He could feel himself slipping already.

Dan rebuilding the village has the same vibe as Bob Ross doing a painting

I feel like RT's reward for defeating all the bosses should have been setting the game to peaceful mode, ensuring no monsters attacked the village anymore

I find it funny that while I was watching this series I was accidentally doing an evil version of the playthrough. I found a savannah village, imprisoned the villagers for trading, paved over the entire thing, made a giant industrial facility and made the whole thing red, black and menacing looking
