Another take on that is you could soak at least one layer of the biscuits in some kind of liqueur that pairs well with chocolate. I might also add something like a thin layer of fresh raspberry compote or some other kind of fruit as an acidic foil to balance the chocolate and sugar, poured over the ricotta and below the 2nd layer of biscuit and melted chocolate.
