My guy that algae isn't good for fish, young fish get stuck in between and even weaker fish like old fishes, they get stuck in between and they die I wouldn't suggest you but it's yiur choice to leave it after seeing this comment.

Yes sir i know some guppy got stuck on algae sometimes thats why i get rid of some of the algae.
