04:15 Such an insightful video! Thank you for sharing valuable knowledge and showcasing a different side of vegetable farming. It’s truly eye-opening! 😍😍😍😍😍

Really like the combo of veggie farming and conventional farming. I think you're the only farm-tuber i watch that does both. Very unique perspective.

We had the same amount under plastic and rolled our mainline up on its self. Fold over about 1 to 2 feet and start rolling until the roll got about 3 for 4 feet across. Took old drip line and tied around it in about 3 or 4 places and stored it in a barn.

I duct tape the ends of my header hose shut for the winter to keep mice out. Also all my drip valves are the individual shutoff kind I leave them in and shut each one off. So far never had any troubles
@wishwellfarms3 ай бұрын
Mine are the individual ones too and I've thought about leaving them in...already removed them so maybe I'll put them back in, thanks!

We roll our 2 inch mainline up on spolls just like you and I hate it. If theres easier way Im all for it. Great video thanks.

I'll probably just leave it out again and tape the ends shut and maybe even put the drip emitters back in the holes

A side I have only seen cause I worked through it years ago! Got out of the farm industry mainly because my favorite times of year to do what i want are spring and fall! As you know those are the times of no days off!

Row cropping and vegetable farming, so different, but both take lots of work! Maybe Case only makes one size of disc 😉

shift your sweetcorn to cucumbers and zuch and vise versa or something similar,drop it to a large rectangle or whatever shape suits you best and shift yer ground crops quarter by quarter to curb them diseases , im sure you already use fungicide and sulphur in your fert .

Whats your preferred grape tomato to grow? Along with your favorite beefstake? Also were do you purchase your coco coir grow slabs along with the rockwool cubes. Thanks, greatly appreciated.
@wishwellfarms3 ай бұрын
Our favorite grape tomatoes are ruby crush, and Jolly girl, both determinants. I will not grow any indeterminants ever again. The red rounds that we grow in the greenhouses are big Dena, Geronimo, Terrero, and Ondero. They are all indeterminants. We get our coconut core bags from AMA, Plastics in Ontario. They also carry rockwool/Stonewall, but we have been getting them recently from Crop king in Ohio.

What do you do with corn in the bins?
@wishwellfarms3 ай бұрын
Some of it is sold right away to fill contracts and a lot of it is stored in our bins to sell through winter, spring, and summer of next year. A lot of ours goes to the regional ethanol plant and the rest of it is just sold on the market and taken elsewhere on barges and from there, I don’t know other than that it will be processed into other goods for human consumption, like corn syrup, cornmeal, etc.

And that is your mistake. Does using all caps get you more clicks?
@sethbrown57363 ай бұрын
I have never seen someone so offended by the format of a title. When you are uploading to the thousands of subscribers your channel must have, you can put it in all lower case if it makes you feel better.

Are YOU a school.teacher? CAPS titles are great for us.. The content amazing.

His videos are great no matter how he types the titles!! As if all caps makes someone watch a video!! 😵💫 Let me add, why would all caps make someone watch a video. We watch because Jason is worth watching & very impressive. Does that make my comment clearer?

@@DDL2728 if you are subscribed how are the caps hurting you?
@DDL27283 ай бұрын
@klausgeselle8034 They're not hurting me. I'm saying the guy is ridiculous making such a big deal about all caps. It's ridiculous, in my opinion. Jason makes great videos, & who cares if he uses all caps in the title - not me!! I think you misunderstood my comment!
