ого...тоже живу в деревне, уже месяц работаю пастухом, сама выбрала работу, давно хотела на свежем воздухе, работала год в городе - не мое(мне 21 сейчас))). работаю 12 часов, иногда без обеда, с собой беру, в дождь, в жару... говорили, что будет сложно, но я не устаю почти, меня почему-то все радует и устраивает, свобода и вдали от людей. лес, шикарные просторные поля)) овода и мошка почти не мешают. трава у Вас в видео так легка косится! расслабляет смотреть, почти как АСМР. When I was young and still living with my parents we lived on a small place in a rural area. We had a huge garden, chickens, ducks, and had a few steer on a pasture and grew almond trees. i know what it is to use a scythe and how much work it is. I still use a scythe many, many years later today. I noticed how strong your arms look when you use it. You are a fine young man. You waste nothing, know how to take care of yourself, are resourceful and I think you are kind and thoughtful. If I was young again I would want to be your friend. I hope everything in your life works out well for you and your family.

Я родом из Сибири, деревенский с детства приходилось учиться косить траву на покосах для заготовки на зиму сена для коров, пасти, кормить и ухаживать за домашними животными. Хочу тебе подсказать как правильно точить "литовку" с целью безопасности и не пораниться! Нужно взять косу концом черенка упереться в землю, конец должен иметь заостренную форму, черенок пропустить подмышкой левой руки, левой ладошкой обхватить пятку косы (то есть, верхнюю часть черенка) и усилием левой руки загнать черенок на несколько см в землю, придерживая металлическую часть косы правой рукой! После чего металлическую часть ближе к заостренной части удерживают ладошкой левой руки, а правой рукой с точащим бруском можно смело точить косу.!

Иван я заметил, что ты левша, тогда все что я рекомендовал по более безопасной заточке косы можно делать наоборот, т.е. правой удерживать косу, а левой точить боуском...

Коса литовка должна быть подобрана по росту человека, который ей пользуется. Точнее, само косовище. Таким образом можно избежать кошения травы в постоянно согнутом положении, что, естественно, сказывается на быстрой усталости и утомляемости, особенно, если предстоит выкосить большие площади территории. Поэтому, Иван, рекомендую перенасадить косу на косовище, которое бы подходило под твой рост. Срубить молодую ёлочку и сделать новую палку для косы, думаю, не составит большого труда) Удачи!

He makes using that scythe seem almost effortless. I grew up in a dairy farming community outside of Philadelphia and still had a few "old timers" that were dairy farmers. My one neighbor owned a hotel built back in the mid 1800's and had a 2 story storage building chock full of old equipment and tools. If only I knew then what I know now.......................................... A lot of neighbors had large gardens and would can and jar for the winter and stock their root cellars. All of the kids who's father ran a dairy had to pitch in and work around the farm. Just watching Ivan reminds me of the tough life they led even in the 1960's That scenery is so beautiful and I was amazed to see NO SMOG. I live in BFE Montana and the amount of smog we have up here dismays me. Even as a kid in PA, our smog wasn't too bad, but now????????

Смотрю и просто с ужасом вспоминаю свое детство в деревне, где меня маленького заставляли косить траву, ворочать сено, собирать в снопы, завозить в сарай, утаптывать сено до изнеможения, а потом выходить из сарая в пыли и грязи с головы до ног. Нет, спасибо, сейчас мне 30 и я ни за что не променяю комфортную городскую жизнь на деревню. В детстве мне хватило.
