A Director on Fire - Céline Sciamma

Céline Sciamma, director of PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE says it was a challenge to set her film back in time without being consumed in the details and accuracy of doing a period film. “I’m not trying to have a dialog with the history of cinema,” she says.
