Guess Lanzarote isn't the best place to run a modern diesel car. They need regular runs at higher revs to allow the filter to regenerate . In the UK we have a diesel Golf Which generally does 10 miles a day on country roads, so once a month we make sure it has a 70mph run for 20 mins on the dual carriageway or Motorway and it's been fine. Using more expensive higher quality fuel helps as well but not sure that exists in Lanzarote. Some places in U.K. offer a DPF clean out if not too blocked to save cost of replacement.

Did you manage to get the car sorted? I guess it’s the DPF filter that’s throwing up the error. Often, you can “lie” to the car and tell it that a new filter has been fitted and the error goes away. We’re out again at Xmas, if you want me to bring my laptop and diagnostic kit, yell. I’ll certainly be cheaper than Peugeot!
