Imam al-Bayhaqi reports in al-Sunan al-Kubra: “When Fatimah became ill, Abu Bakr came to her and asked for permission to enter. So Ali said, ‘O Fatimah, this is Abu Bakr asking for permission to enter.’ She replied, ‘Do you want me to give him permission?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ So she allowed him (to enter), and he came in seeking her pleasure, so he said to her, ‘By Allah, I only left my home and property and my family seeking the pleasure of Allah and His Messenger and you, O Ahl al-Bayt.’ So he spoke to her until she was pleased with him.” [Sunan al-Bayhaqi 6/301] حدثنا أبو حمزة عن إسماعيل بن خالد عن الشعبي قال لما مرضت فاطمة أتاها أبوبكر الصديق فاستأذن عليها فقال علي يا فاطمة هذا أبوبكر يستأذن عليك فقالت أتحب أن آذن له قال نعم فاذنت له فدخل عليها يترضاها وقال والله ما تركت الدار والمال والأهل و العشيرة إلا ابتغاء مرضاة الله ومرضاة رسوله ومرضاتكم أهل البيت ثم ترضاها حتي رضيت. [سنن البيهقي 6/301]

Speaking of ‘bizarre Matan’ Syeda Fatimah (as) saw the Tradition stated by Abu Bakr had a ‘bizarre matan’ and like wise rejected it. Fair statement ?

Marwan bin Hakim had possession of Fadak in Imam Ali’s (as) ‘caliphate’. Marwan bin Hakim is Uthmans cousin at the time of Imam Ali’s caliphate Uthman death was being avenged against Moula Ali a.s. This is widely understood. If someone wants to add to that maybe in the Sheykhs next lecture.

The Quran is Mutawatir hence where she (as) extended her claim from.

How can wives also not inherit, they were to maintain righteousness and not leave their house and not remarry (Umal-Momineen) . Why leave them in such a vulnerable position. Abu Bakr in his fabrication of the tradition didn’t foresee the implications of the wives. He was focused on getting Bayat from Ahlul-Bayt (as). Abu Hurara tradition was a amendment to the fabrication. There’s no two way to look at this if your holding tight to Quran and Ahlul-Bayt (as) and your holding both traditions to be Sahi.

When I say fabrication I don’t mean to disrespect any of our Ahlul-Sunnah brothers. Its lighter then other words that some could use , the words used in the ‘bad matan’ tradition.

@@ALI-om2re Abu Bakr (RA) does not lie. He is called Siddique for a reason. To doubt the iman of someone so close the the Prophet Alayhisalam is very troublesome. We are nothing compared to them.

@@fahdmasud I don’t know where the term sidiq originated from. It is not I who challenged the tradition but the heir of the Prophet (s) Fatimah Zahra (sa). It will never make sense that Abu Bakr knows a tradition about the heritage of the Prophet (s) but the heir doesn’t know.
