EARLY is the only time to go to Gatlinburg and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park. lol. Love how you drove back into the rising sun and parked right in front of The Village. I worked there (at The Jelly Jar) about 20 years ago. I could SMELL the Donut Friar in my mind.

I really enjoyed seeing Mynatt Park. I don’t think we’ve ever been there though the name seems familiar. I will be adding it to our itinerary for our upcoming trip on June 4, 2023. We are so excited to bring our 7 y. o. granddaughter to Gatlinburg for the first time. We were last there in 2020. Again, thanks for the video. I’ll be following you on your FB page. I didn't know you did photography until recently. Your photos are amazing. When is the best time of year to get pictures done in the Smokies? Is it still legal to park on the side of the road in Gatlinburg any day before 9am without having to pay to park or worry about getting towed?

Photography is what pays the bills. Our real job if you will. Lol. Thank you. Christy works hard on her photos. Anytime is a good time for pictures here but most people love the fall foliage. Yes to before 9am on parking

I would like to know if you think the quality of the donuts at the donut friar is poor now. The last 2 times we have tried it in the past year was such a disappointment. They told me they had a new baker. It was so pitiful that we said we would not go back! We have been going there for years and always looked forward to it. We were so disappointed! Just curious what your recent thoughts are!

@@SmokyMtFaithFoodFun we always loved the raspberry powder filled. They were not thick and fluffy with barely crisp bottom. Even the eclairs were not nearly as good. Just sad to us

The price was great for the amount of food u get. Also i have to say if u want to try dessert and u dont want to waste it get to gi plates. Thats what we always do. It never fails i rarely ever leave a restaurant without a to go plate because it is very hard for me to finish my food and i dont waste food so thats my only option lol. Btw were toing to stay at wedtgate resort The first week of June and we got the first 3 nights for $99 the only catch to that is we will sit through a 90 minute presentation for a timeshare but you dont have to buy a share if you dint want to. Thats an amazing price to stay there! I would love to buy a timeshare with my hubby but after checking into the timeshares with westgate resorts im scared to even think about it with that particular hotel because so many folks have sued them and talked si badky if them. If anyone has anh information on the tumeshare program with westgate please let me know im all ears!
