Not very dramatic. But just a good, simple setup.

Thank you for the photoshoot story. It was very interesting. Can you tell us: what was the second modifier you used, and why did you not diffuse it? And what was the difference, just approximately, in the power setting between the two DI lights?

Hi Karla & Profoto, Thanks for sharing this video. Why did you left another umbrella without diffusion ? Are you using it for filling in shadows that got created on camera left ? I know your power readings on profoto d1 might not help me as very setup is different, but to get an idea what was the power on one with diffusion and another one without diffusion.

Great job, love the final images! I am curious, when you do a group shot like this, where do you place your focus point?
@WoodyONeal9 жыл бұрын
Thought the same thing. She mentions 5.6 as the aperture, that seemed a bit shallow? I dunno, but with groups the focus point is important. Very nice video!

Hi guys and thank you for your kind words! If you put the phocus 1/3 in from the closest object it will give you the sharpest image possible with a group photo like this. But if you would look at the final image in 100 % you would see that its not completely sharp in the front where the kids are sitting, but definitely sharp enough. And also, if I would have taken this image with a DSLR it would never have given me such a nice and sharp image as the Hasselblad do. Good luck with your images! :)
