A DRAMATIC VICTORY! | Arsenal 3-2 Aston Villa | Goals & highlights

We twice came from behind to earn a memorable win at the Emirates, despite playing most of the game with 10 men.
It was a result that looked unlikely when our sluggish start culminated in the visitors taking the lead. John McGinn left his markers flat-footed, and turned in Anwar El Ghazi's cross from close range.
It was a sloppy goal to concede, and our task got even harder when Ainsley Maitland-Niles was dismissed for a second bookable offence shortly before half-time. Referee Jon Moss insisted he caught Neil Taylor with his follow through after making the tackle.
Bukayo Saka was taken off at the break to allow Unai Emery to bring on Calum Chambers at the back. Eighteen-year-old Saka had followed up his man-of-the match display in the Europa League on Thursday with another performance of promise on his first Premier League start, setting up a great chance for Maitland-Niles after just two minutes.
Despite our numerical disadvantage we started the second half strongly, and found an equaliser after Matteo Guendouzi was brought down in the box. Nicolas Pepe stepped up to smash home his first Arsenal goal from 12 yards, but his joy was short-lived.
Barely a minute later Villa re-established their lead, Wesley squeezed home his shot at the near post from a Jack Grealish cross.
The visitors were then forced back, attempting to soak up the pressure as we piled forward.
Roared on by the Emirates crowd we drew level through Chambers - the defender coming up with a superb, improvised finish inside the box.
It was game on, and Aubameyang raised the roof when he thumped home his free-kick from just outside the area, after he himself was brought down.
It had been far from plain-sailing, but the three points were assured, moving us into the top four.

Don't compare Guendouzi to a player, different type of player. He can dribble as a CM, spread well, create from the back, run the fast break, lacks scoring and heading the ball but he is at his best when he is physical. When he is not he tends to be too passive. Great talent, long term best CM for Arsenal for years to come. Hopefully, Saliba comes in next season and provide the same spark Guendouzi has provided for us and the 1-year loan for Saliba proves a worth investment for a final product than a project. Still waiting on his return from injury.

This game was a prefect example of our team: amazing at the front, poor at the back. I'm excited that Bellerin, Tierney and Holding are coming back, they are much needed. Great passion from the squad, seeing them celebrate like they did after the match was brilliant to watch, it's clear they have pride for the club. I wish that pride was there for all the matches otherwise we might have seen better results. 4th place, Nottingham Forest soon and poor form Manchester Utd on the weekend... I can't wait. It's not about Mustafi only you see that this season we got consede even more without Mustafi. We consede cause Emery don't know how to defend. He didn't when he lost 1-6 in CL and he has no clue what to do now. And the most point he doesn't see is that without support from midfield we will consede more. He can play Torreira above defence (not box-to-box as now) and kick Xhaka out of the team and we will get the result but he has no clue.

Arsenal defensive problem comes from opening the pitch wide with our defenders and defensive mids , giving space to the opponent to shoot and move through us . Just goes to show how talented our midfield is. When they have more experience I believe people such as guenduzie and cellabaos (ignore my terrible spelling) will be world class. Amazing attack as well, as soon as Pepe settles in which I believe the penalty may help with he’ll be a great addition to the club. If we use tierney, bellerin, chambers, holding, Leno in defence our team will be great. COYG.

Emery, this is not the way you improve our team. 1. you should have a clear idea your starting line up 2. we can not continue these experimental tactics every week. 3. please, bring your own philosophy. (we don't know whether we are attacking team or defending team, we are in a dreadful situation every other weekend ). 4. please find 11 line up players and stop risking our hope reaching champions league place next year. 5. learn from your mistakes because time is ruining and find out balancing way of your 11 line up players the only way we can defend is to defend together because our back is not good enough to defend properly.
