Just to point out, that any pedestrian has right of way on a zebra crossing, even if they are in the middle, it is part of the crossing, but some people wait till the traffic stops, for whatever reason.

@K Rob It's a shame. If more people took action that would be ideal. Where I live the community are very much against its council building on green belts. They want something like 500 new builds on anchiant woodland, gotta say the amount of partitions and protests have been fantastic and quite effective.

@@Fugnuk2047 yeah sadly around here people are just resigned to it. Nobody kicks up a fuss. All I get told is if you appeal then the developers get the government to intervene and approve. The old shoebury barracks is full of tacky new builds. Pushes up house prices for ordinary shoebury folk who can ill afford that. Ridiculous isn’t it. Wish there’s more I could do.

@@krob2327 if I were still in shoebury I’d be trying too. Where I currently live the council is getting worse by getting rid of green. But a few times the public have won which is odd. In due time greenery will be a thing of the past. Money is apparently everything to the suits.
