Toni. Thanks for your comment. Living in cornwall, as I do, many roads are like this all over cornwall and it becomes quite easy to manoeuvre through these areas. People who visit our lovely West Country may not have encountered roads like this from where they live so it is a bit difficult for them to navigate. Kev, I'm from North Devon, I have a similar video driving the other way in a Land Rover Discovery 3 I can confirm it fits, there was a wheel rub but it fits. (your vid comes up as a suggested as from mine) Good luck buddy and a wave from me when I'm in Kern next x (as its like 6 miles from here will be next week at some point)

Cars and vans are just fine in Port Isaac. The issue is other vehicles and mostly tourists not understanding how to move to the side. Down at the bottom it gets a bit hectic with delivery vans.

Essex, my daughter lives in Essex in South Ockendon. I did live in East London but was born in St Ives so had to return to cornwall eventually.

Doc Martin Series put Port ISAAC ON the Map

Yes Paul, it did. But it has its advantages and disadvantages. Port Isaac is a quaint fishing village on the north coast of Cornwall and until Doc Martin series started filming there, the port had very few visitors and fishing was the main income for the local people, but now, the visitors help keep the local shop owners open. I just wish, as I have seen it for myself, that a small percentage of the visitors have no respect for the shop owners, some have had abusive language shouted at them and that is just not acceptable, local residents inconvenienced by people not parking at the main car park or at St Endellion car park. We welcome visitors here to Cornwall but please remember, respect our local environment as we still live here.

@@MrRoute6600 Well you will be welcome to come over and visit, and when you do, visit as much of Cornwall as you can to get an overall perspective because some areas are not good areas to live, just like anywhere in the world but, the majority of Cornwall is peaceful and respectful and the views are special and spectacular.
