Is this only once a year and do they do it in other states? We just received our machine today. We can't wait to get started.

Yes. It is once a year and only in Miami where their head quarters is. It’s worth it to attend next year even if you are up and running by then. Congratulations on your machine also.

I can’t imagine being that successful with a Ricoma machine. I’ve had nothing but problems with my machine.
@adubbproductions2 жыл бұрын
If you’ve never gotten your machine to work and many people such as myself have you just need training. This stuff is not plug and play.

Joyce. The real question and please don’t take this the wrong way. It’s not the machine. It’s you. They work great. I’ve had my struggles in the beginning but i struggled threw it and I create amazing things with my machines. So the question is can you not imagine having success with a Ricoma machine or can you not imagine having success? If it was easy everyone would be doing it. You have to learn and struggle threw the difficulties if you want success. Deco summit would have helped you solve all of the issues you are having. What are some of the issues you are having problems with. Maybe I can create a few videos to help you get up and running. I most likely have videos created on the issues you are struggling with.

@@adubbproductions Hi Alan, your right! I am new to Ricoma and just need to work through problems they come up. I have only had my machine for a couple months, so I am just starting on the learning curve ladder. I met with a Ricoma rep this afternoon and doing some tension checks. I have done several tests and am now encountering one needle that chews up the thread and tears up my stabilizer. I am looking through your video’s now to see if I can find one that addresses the problem. In the meantime, hopefully I can meet with another Ricoma rep tomorrow for additional assistance. I was not able to attend Deco Summit this year due to other vacation conflict. Thanks for all your helpful video’s!
@adubbproductions2 жыл бұрын
Maybe I can help. Judging by your explanation that specific needle that is having the issue probably has to much tension applied to the thread. Needles pass threw material if the thread was removed it would go in and out with no problems the variable is the thread and the tug of war it is having with the bobbin thread below. (Wanna kinda break it down so hopefully you understand.) if all the other needles are embroidering correctly with that bobbin tension then it has to be the tension on that specific needle. That specific needle could also be threaded incorrectly and that could be the culprit. I’m almost confident now that I said it that it might be something with the thread path. Check that and if that doesn’t work do the i test and start tightening up the tension. I say tighten because it sounds like your thread is getting caught at the bottom and puncturing threw the material. If you add some tension it will pull the top thread a little more so it doesn’t get caught at the bottom. Hope that helps. If it doesn’t then try loosening. You have options, don’t be scared, turn those knobs and see what happens. Experimenting is the only way you will learn and start to understand what you are doing.
