I really think that it is logical that stamped t-shirts are dangerous as well as the powder as then we wear the towder constantly on ourselves. I bought a printer for $2000 2 weeks ago, but I am not going to print with it after I watched so many videos about the DTF stamps on the web. That's a real danger and we should be as much protective as we can and be close to the nature. The governments should be aware as well if they think about the people in the countries. I am giving up printing until there is natural ingredients paints/stamps for clothes.

Hi, thanks for the video, I wish I'd seen it a year ago when it came out... I've had a By-20 since the beginning of this year, connected to a shaker and an oven; when they installed it for me they filled me with recommendations... make it work every day, clean it regularly, because the DTF inks are particular (I already had three ecosolvent plotters and two sublimation printers) the machine itself does frequent automatic cleaning and circulation of the ink, because this machine, to work well, must WORK, it must not stand still. At the beginning everything went well, the machine is fantastic, the prints of very high quality, everything ok... But then the summer season arrived, the work got serious, and the problems began... Because the machine , designed for production, which must work, which is in line with the shaker and oven to produce continuously, cannot withstand intensive workloads. I'm talking about hours and hours of continuous printing, 8, 12, even 16 hours of continuous work are unthinkable. After hours of work the colors begin to disappear and it's not a cleaning problem... It really seems like the head isn't holding up, to restart correctly it has to "rest" for hours... Maybe it's overheating? I don't know, they're investigating, they're telling us that "we're probably using the printer too much"...(?!?). Never had these problems with previous technologies, my opinion is that DTF is still too young... Thanks and goodbye

I want to replace my Sawgrass and color laser printer with only an icolor white toner printer. Please do a video on the icolor sublimation vs Sawgrass. Thanks

The problem is that the average person does not really know what goes into the production of garments, whether it be DTG, DTF, Ebroidery, whatever. Some people in the business are in the "race to bottom" price camp. This adversely impacts the entire industry and the ability of smaller business to turn enough profit to even conduct business. If someone is not willing to pay for a large job because they don't understand that it is expensive and/or time consuming to create, then they can find another method of creation or modify their design to make it easier or faster to create. People trying to constantly lower their prices just to get a sale is counter productive. So you get a sale but barely make a profit. Then you get a bunch of orders based on that price. Then you are locked into creating a bunch of orders and making minimal money, tying up your time and equipment, preventing you from working on more profitable jobs. Just my thought. You shouldn't be pricing your stuff astronomically, but selling for pennies is just as bad, if not worse.
@MrGargoylzКүн бұрын
To put what I said into perspective, you don't walk into a Lamborghini dealership with a Honda budget and expect them to work with you to get that sweet Lambo! You also don't go into any retail store and say, "I don't want to pay that much. I only want to pay $5 for that $10 product." Again, I agree that your prices should be realistic and not crazy high. However, there does come a point at which it just doesn't make sense for the business to do the job below a certain price. OK, rant over. LOL.

Hey is the ink Water-resistant or does it depend on the label. Do you have a video on what the lamination step looks like ?
@pamela53132 күн бұрын
I wanted to offer some thoughts based on experience. You mentioned working with a customer who was a dean at a college, and it sounds like the embroidery size was quite large. In situations like this, it might have been more cost-effective to suggest a smaller design at the same price. This way, you would reduce your production costs while maintaining the price point. When marketing to customers, it's important to remember that your pricing should reflect the value of your work and the associated costs. Your machine will continue to generate income, and it’s common to worry whether people will pay the price, but often, if you say no, they will find another provider and still end up paying a similar amount. You can offer alternatives, such as using brands like Bella Canvas or other apparel options, but at the end of the day, business is about covering your expenses and making a profit. You need to account for the costs of labor, supplies, and machine time. While being considerate with customers is important, protecting your bottom line is essential for sustaining your business. In some cases, customers may have the money but are reluctant to pay full price. This is where standing firm on your pricing is crucial. For example, the hoodies you mentioned could easily have been priced at $125 or more, particularly if you included additional elements like neck labels or sleeve designs. Even with a basic design, pricing could vary based on the complexity of the embroidery. To give you a clearer idea: Small embroidery (under 5,000 stitches) typically adds $5 to $10 to the base cost of the garment. Larger embroidery (over 10,000 stitches) can add $20 or more. A blank hoodie generally ranges from $20 to $50, depending on the brand. Jackets tend to range from $30 to $100 or more, based on material and style. In business, it's about balancing customer satisfaction with efficient organization, ensuring that costs are covered while providing value. In today’s economy, prioritizing your business objectives while offering quality is more important than ever.

Are you going to be uploading a video from your visit to iColor? I saw you on Katrina's video when I did a search for printing on ornaments using white toner. It was so informative...well the parts from Joe 😂 I really do not want to use sublimation and wanted to use a white toner printer using hard surface paper. There really is not a lot of information on it for ornaments. Most videos are for cups, plaques etc.
@adubbproductions3 күн бұрын
Katrina's video covered the visit. I was more so focused on learning and retaining the information than getting a cool video. I wanted to be able to come back home and make videos on what the machine can do. So far I did a video on how to do white toner hard surface, sublimation, white toner temporary tattoos, banner printing, window clings, proper way to get a perfect a to b marry everytime and I also explained over and under printing in a way people can understand. As for a video on the visit itself, that was my second time at icolor so I probably wont upload a redundant video of what she already posted.

Anything having to do with cutting the box would not work. I need to keep the box the way it is and not have to tape it back together.
