I watch this over and over again. There is something special in it. Perhaps the promise of Youth. Wonderful, devoted young faces and a really beutiful romantic music brought together by this wondeful maestro. I just love it. Dvorak was a master of composition and orchestration. The Slavonic Dances are an excellent introduction to his talent. One of the first composers to really grab my attention more than a a few decades ago, and it was from this batch of dances, instantly and irresistibly appealing.

I can see why this "student" performance is on par with all professional orchestras' I have ever heard. They sensed your love for them and they reciprocated it in terms of their hard practice and passionate performance! I did hear the "thickness" in the orchestra before.
