Thank you for the beautiful selection. Dvorak is my favourite composer but, apart from the 9th symphony - definitely a hit - the pieces presented here are not the ones that made me love his music so much. If you enjoy this selection and feel more curious about Dvorak, you should definitely listen to the Lento of the American quatuor, and cry a river listening to his Stabat mater (and read the story behind this composition).

Escape, escape from the quiet and absorb every moment of a sunset already lived and stunned by the evidence. Who and where do we go to remedy the infatuation of feeling alive... alive in every space and in every everywhere lies the noise of distance. How long can we remain alone, solfeggio to the naturalness of every silent sound? Nature speaks to us and shows us the most jovial path for us sinners.

Antonín Leopold Dvořák; 8 September 1841 - 1 May 1904) was a Czech composer. Dvořák frequently employed rhythms and other aspects of the folk music of Moravia and his native Bohemia, following the Romantic-era nationalist example of his predecessor Bedřich Smetana. Dvořák's style has been described as "the fullest recreation of a national idiom with that of the symphonic tradition, absorbing folk influences and finding effective ways of using them," and Dvořák has been described as "arguably the most versatile... composer of his time".
