AYYYY! I used to love this show as a kid! It used to play between shows on ABC here in Australia. Goddamn, that song was so catchy, I still sing it sometimes. :)

Another filler was La Linea, the man made of a white line who ran into all sorts of obstacles. Then the hand that draws him would come along along and fix things, or make things worse!! 😂

Oh man. A friend of mine found your videos and he showed them to me... I am living in the province of Quebec, Canada and I am now 26 and I saw your tv shows when I was a kid. There was something fascinating with your tv shows. I didn't even know The Red and the Blue, QUAQQUAO and A.E.I.O.U. were from the same guys! I believe that the imaginary language of these shorts make them universal. And of course only kids ( or those who are still kids inside ) can understand the characters! Keep it up!

This series like "Quaq Quao" was created by Franchesco Misseri, according to the credits at the end of this one. Though they use completely different animation media (sand vs paper), they style, simple plot, and music are all uncannily similar. I can't see a date, but I have the feeling that A.E.I.O.U predates Quaq Quao (which started production in 1978 and first aired in 1980 if I'm not mistaken).
ive never seen anything like this. this is truely inspiring and original :) love it ! and the theme song is too catchy been in my head all day while sorting out my uni portfolio ^^
