If you hate steaming: I put a big durable plastic bag over the steamer stand and the wig on a stand and just let the steamer do its thing. I turn the wig half way through and steam bot sides of the block 5 minutes and let the wig air dry. It works for me!

This is amazing. And looks stunning. You better get a patent on it before someone else says they came up with the idea. I've always had fly aways when curling hair. But you have invented a way to have no fly aways and to curl every hair. Your brilliant...

I was having this same problem with long wigs and hair rollers!! Thank you!!!!

This is absolutely ingenious! I only tried once to use a curl iron set on the very lowest heat for 2.9 seconds and it ruins the synthetic fibers for sure even if wig stated it was "heat friendly to 360 degrees" Nopes it's not. This method is safe, it works and the results are just fab! Thanks for this tutorial!

Love your videos.. don’t think because you’ve done something on camera before that we don’t want to see it or that you should skip it, make every video as though you’re speaking to a new person, we have seen you do makeup a lot but I would watch you do it a million times, you always bring something new to it every time.. 😘 so glad you’re blowing up on KZbin now 💗

Love this! I use a plastic bag over the wig with my steamer underneath for a few minutes creating a steam chamber, it perfectly does the job and I never miss a hair!

You're an incredible instructor. If I had a teacher wearing a Lisa Frank shirt in beauty school, I'd have paid better attention 😁 I have very long hair right now and I'm digging out my bendy rollers to do this on my own head. You explain things very clearly. I used to use pantyhose to do Zulu knots back in the 90s. I'd slather them with pomade and Image Intrakera and sit under a dryer.

This is INGENIOUS!!! It makes me want to make tiny little stocking tubes to use for actual perms (though I don’t know wheat the solution would do to the nylon), but it’s makes me wonder! Way to use your brain!!

This is a genius idea .. thank you for sharing it .. layers are a bugger if you have not cut them yourself!! oh btw .. if you dont have a steamer, you can use boiling hot water and dunk the wig (take it off the wig block first) with the foam rollers in .. into a bowl of hot water .. weight it down with something heavy .. and it works beautifully!! xxx
@natmccallion3 жыл бұрын
Omg I’m going to try your tights technique on my hair!! I grow my hair and give it to charity every other year because it grows like wild fire and I generally just keep it up in a bun. When I do go out tho I never know how to curl it because it’s so long, thick and slippy. Does your wig head have a name?? I think she looks like a Debbie personally lol xxx

Thank you for sharing your expertise. Do you do anything special when cutting(?) the stockings to keep them so neat and free of runs? PS You voiced concerns about your clarity but needn't worry. You explained everything very well. Your verbal instructions coupled with the visual example made everything crystal clear!
