Thank you so much. This video is a lifesaver. I was able to fill up my thinned 6x6 closure using your method instead of buying an entirely new and expensive one. It was a little fiddly to start but an hour or 2 in and I grasped the method and it became easier. My closure is full and back to new now and I'm so glad I came accross your video.

Thats what i use to think until i found out they do this with a machine! They can zip through lace and pack it full of ventilated hair. This is how you can prove what im saying is true. ..look at the front lace of a human hair wig and notice all the knots are in an exact pattern..evenly spaced..perfect unison..

Thank you for this video. Reminds me of rug hooking, which is very meditative. Part of the reason I wanted to watch this was to see how the knots are made. I have alopecia and a human hair wig that was made several years ago. I paid quite a lot for it but can't seem to wear it because of the scratchiness. I thought it was the extra layer of rough lace that was on the inside crown, so I removed it but the next layer, which covers the knotted lace, appears to have very tiny cut hairs poking through it. It's almost as if the knots on the next layer were cut but that doesn't seem to make sense based on the technique you're showing. Were wigs knotted differently at one time in a way that left an exposed cut hair on the inside of the wig? I'm a little confused by what I'm seeing on the wig. Thanks for any input. If I had more time, I'd try this. It looks very relaxing.

What kind of board do you have the piece pinned to while you’re working? Would it be feasible to just use cork board or foam poster board?

Hello there! Answer from Michael Ornelaz: Corkboard is fine for small things but some like to use a stuffed canvas. Almost like a half pillow stuffed tightly and nailed to a board.
