Rosalie, you are marvellous. I just love the sincerity and integrity with which you speak. You figured this aaall the way out girl! Instantly! You nailed exactly what my intention was behind making this version. Your eloquence and emotional intelligence are remarkable, I am wishing you all the success in the world for your channel. I hope you also enjoy my new songs. I would love to see you unravel those too 💜

Lolli, you have perhaps the best voice I've heard in years, and that's based on the snippets we get in your analyses as well as this. Still, I can only give this a 9.95 because I think Johnny's was slightly better, mostly because of his age. But, goodness gracious this is wonderful

Thank you, and the person who made the donation, for doing this. Lolli is a special human being. If you watch enough reactions, you can see her wonderful ability to mimic whatever vocalist she's reacting to, just so she can explain how the sound is made. She's very an empath, and feels things deeply. If you enjoyed this, please consider checking out her latest single and video, "I Can't Decide". It's not near as dark as "Hurt", and it's a sonic delight. There's also good stuff to unpack on the psychological side.

Lolli is quite special and her knowledge of the human voice is quite remarkable! She knows the chords, false folds and muscle structure so well and as it’s been said can mimic the things almost perfectly that the artist she is reacting to, is doing! Quite a range also for a female artist! Thanks for this reaction! I watched her analysis of Johnny’s video and she was extremely moved by it! I think she wanted to convey another side to this song and did so really well!❤ thank you again! Low bass Kenneth

One thing I've always loved about Lolli is her ability to change her vocal tone to sound like other people, and she used that ability to change her tones and portray different emotions in this particular track at different points in the song. That's part of what adds to the emotion that she's portraying here. Brilliant singer!

Lolli had to make it completely different to make it her own. Johnny Cash's version is much more heartbreaking for me, but Lolli's version is darker and also amazing. What is missing is the experience of Johhny's life that makes his version so unbelievable emotional and that cannot be covered. So her story is a different one in her video. And it works out well.

I think it purely depends on which story you relate to more. As a DV survivor, Lolli's version broke me. She expresses the story with her life experiences, and he his.
