A Falcon Flies (Falcon Heavy's first flight set to Electronica)

Another in a long line of 2 minute pieces that take me a year to produce (someday I'll get the hang of this...someday).
This video features the Falcon Heavy test flight of February 2018 set to electronica. The ambient synth work comes from Dave Walker, a well-recognized singer/songwriter known in both the Detroit and Seattle music scenes [davidedwardwalker.bandcamp.com]. His "Moon is a Harsh Mistress" of 2010 sets the stage. Dave brought to bear a Yamaha Motif ES-6 via Cakewalk's Sonar Essential X1 DAW. I upped his BPM, re-targeted the pitch and then added a few effects. The synth compliments the audio from the SpaceX video feed of the first 2 minutes or so of flight plus 30 seconds of countdown. I overlaid some wonderfully powerful binaural audio of the first few moments of main engine ignition and launch as recorded by Trevor Mahlmann The Sound Traveler - I upped the sub-harmonics just a bit. Pulled in a bit of Gregorian chant (I know, often over-played) and some open guitar riffs that compliment Walker's "Mistress". The synth pipes come from my Alesis QS6. Finally, drums were from Ableton's Vinyl Classics pack. The 70's studio quality drums spoke to me; especially, since the last manned Apollo flight took place in 1972. I used Ableton Live 10 Standard as the DAW and produced the video using Garage Band. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer. Hope you enjoy!
