Hi can you please explain what is eg1 trig in? And how it works!
@hadlbah Жыл бұрын
Hi Agent007 . . . I had no idea that MI-6 had any interest in MS-20! (hahahaha!) Okay, great question and thanks for asking. EG-1 is possibly the most powerful feature of the MS-20, right behind the legendary high pass and low pass filters. Perhaps the best answer is for you to cruise over and watch my lecture on the subject: Lecture #5 EG-1 and Sonic Sculpting [ kzbin.info/www/bejne/ip_XZ4eJfc-Xg5I ]. Hopefully this gets you up and running. Once you have watched the lecture, let me know what additional info you need and I'll be happy to fill you in. Unless you have already watched the lecture and you are still struggling. Let me know!

@@hadlbah Whats the wheel output going into Trig In for ?
@hadlbah3 ай бұрын
@@simonburns1055 Hi Simon! If your question is from 15:09 or so, the mod wheel voltage is “in” voltage to the S/H. The trigger is connected to a 50% pulse (square wave) LFO. The falling edge of the LFO square triggers the hold circuit. Listening to this video i see some improvements that could be made. Typically I’d say “we’ll fix that next semester” but I think I’ll refine some of these comments in my upcoming lecture 8. Your question required me to dive back into lecture 7 so thanks for your question.🤓 Ah, 34:03…okay, that’s just to turn the envelopes on and off, like a “deadman switch”
