A Fall afternoon in Chesapeake City, MD

A beautiful little town, founded in 1829, which spans the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, Chesapeake City is a jewel of the Northern Eastern Shore, and is a National Historic Area.. Locals will recognize favorites like Schaefer's, Chesapeake City Inn, and the Bayard House. The central feature of the town is the Chesapeake City Bridge, built in 1949.
