I'm so lost. My son has delusions and gets really derogatory, locked me in a closet, destroyed my belongings but other times seems ok. He won't see a doctor. I try listening and building repoire but in his delusions I am a bad person. I believe he has CIP...psychosis induced by weed. I've kept a journal. I called the police 5 times but they won't take him. He went voluntary once and all that happened was he stayed a weekend, got antipsychotics and anti-anxiety..no one talked with us to give us any idea what to do next. He came home and took weed. We've set boundaries. And he has gotten better but it's confusing. If he smokes too much, he gets delusional, rants and gets scary and if he doesn't smoke he gets psychosis. Since he is an adult, we can't force him to do anything. Police won't help. He refuses a doctor. I don't know if the weed has permenently harmed his brain from the psychosis. We don't want to put him on the street when he is in this state of mind...and he is on Medicaid and many rehabs do not take Medicaid. I'm really lost. Jason's name is referred to in Johnny's Ambassadors. It seems we have to wait for him to actually hurt himself or us for anything to happen. I am hoping something in these videos can give me an idea of what to do. I really don't want to throw away my son onto the streets in arctic weather. If he was in his right mind and choosing to do this, that is a different story but he's really out of it.

Hello there, I am so sorry for the pain you must be feeling as you struggle to help. Do you happen to have a copy of Unhooked: How to Help an Addicted Loved One Recover? If not, I highly recommend it. Also, he may recycle through some of this chaos before he feels the internal motivation to change.
