I find it interesting that you produced two videos basically for a single instrument that once it's gone we may never see another... But hey, I watch em both! 😂😂😂 On another note, my family saw you perform at NAMM and thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish I'd been there, but I had to work... They're the Eastman dealer in Alaska ❤

Visiting this one once more - cause I like the looks of that one. However, TBH (and I'm not a 'professional' player) - I own 4 mandolins in very good condition which I bought used; had them retrofitted with deer antler saddles, set up by a pro luthier... prices I paid (Craigslist, online sellers) range, with aftermarket help: $200 - $550 max, from bottom up being 2 A-style/F-hole: The Epiphone, The Loar; and 2 A-style oval-hole: Kentucky Km-172, and a Gold Tone. I do want to get a 1915-ish The Gibson A class for Irish, though. I haven't heard any mandolin sound (dollar-wise) 10x, or more, BETTER that what I have. Just sayin'. If you can afford the high-end boutique stuff: go for it. If you're on a budget, you don't have to settle for something that doesn't sound 95% as good. IMHO.

For what it's worth - the thumbnail photo of that mandolin with the 4 rubber grommet 'mutes' between the bridge and tailpiece - are aligned just as those on my instruments. But I see they're NOT in place during the review. What's your use and/or recommendation about them, please?

We highly recommend them and try to include them when folks purchase mandolins through us. We're also looking to add them as a purchasable pack on our website for those that already own mandolins. Honestly when we filmed the review we most likely didn't have them in stock then got them in at some point before I filmed the B-Roll. Our goal is to use them if available.

I have got to know, what kind of mics are those that you are using..? They look very cool and sound great. That is a very cool mandolin.

Price is immediately out of my reach, & likely always will be... I'll have to wait for a different one...nice looking & sounding, but just not a realistic option for me... I just can't afford to put that kind of money into something I can't drive down the highway...
