I appreciate that you are excited about horse tack. So many detectors write it all off as junk. Horses are a huge part of our history & were the most valuable part of many people’s lives.

Horses were indispensable! Almost more than cars for us. We can get on a bus or train to travel long distances, but for them, it was a horse or nothing.

I believe a strong measure of a man is in the friends he attracts and keeps. It certainly seems like I might be correct in your case as I find the friends who claim you are classy, stand-up sort of folks who all have an aura of dignity much like your own. Bravo, Brad. Your son is a very fortunate lad.

I think he needs to watch your channel to learn about. Hammered Roman silver coins, especially the coin with the CON and OCT, on it. It looked to me like one of the coins that you find out in the fields of Perthshire! (Love your channel)

I recomment you watch The Scottish Detectorist channel. Very educational. He finds Hammered Roman coins. Kinda like the Silver coins you found. Also Gorgeous Georgian silver coin.. and the small coin with a CON on it... its old roman I believe. Good luck! Keep hunting.

My first thought on the jewelry piece was of a necklace I had as a child back in the early 1960s. The charm was of a descending dove which represents baptism. These charms were quite common at the time for necklaces, charm bracelets and even anklets. I've seen other posts saying "eagle & crossed flags" which also sounds plausible. I can see where the flower idea also works. You're able to see it better than we are.

If you check your past videos I think you’ll find another piece of metal very similar to the one you’re calling a piece of jewelry. I remember thinking it was a bird (as I thought again today) and you were calling it a flower then too. I have dropped all of my subscriptions except yours. What you do and find continues to intrigue me. Keep up the good work.
