Its a hard job teaching machinery skills. It's second nature to us. I show them the basics then let them loose in the middle of a field to get the feel for the machine. Your doing a cracking job with abbi. And no choice words we'll not from you anyway. 👍👍👍

Abbi is getting there, quite a few movments to comlete, simultanesly and sequentialy to be proficient loading those bales. Ive got a skid steer on hire for a week coming up to grade out a trackway and load type one, quite looking forward to it, its been a while since i used one. After watching all your videos id love to have used one with bale spikes, spent a few many hours in the past shunting about in telehandlers, not actually needing the machines reach or full lift capacity.

I have a daughter and she is like abbi and my and daughter Alexis is 14. And it doesn't matter to me what is said cuz I heard it all before. When I was younger I was driving tractors when I was 7 years old working at the fields and everything else that's what I started. Good shows keep it up ☝

Antony farming Yes, I would let her look after the place if I had a break, she still has a lot to learn but if she is willing to do it, I am happy to teach. I would just take a holiday in a quieter period for now 🐂🐑🚜👍😄

Robert Hughes Yes Robert, we have a Bandit HB20SP. Not the biggest machine, and harder work than a fully hydraulic machine, but when it’s sharp with a good bloke on it, it’s faster than most. 👍

Eoin O'Reilly I know of another local Ag contractor who runs the baler wrapper machine, he does a lot for the Funky farmer. I can’t offer an opinion myself though, other than it looks like a good machine.

Having a son is no guarantee he will want to carry it on Kelly. I am happy with my four girls, and none of them have the pressure of "Expectation" Modern methods and machinery make both sexes equal, girls can run a farm just the same as chaps, and who knows, one or two may marry into a farming family, giving someone else's boy a step up.
