At the age of 16 we had to hand ball square bales onto an British Rail trailer that was about a foot higher than yours, 5 stacks high. There was a conveyor in the barn but still hand ball onto it and stack em. the farmer caught me pulling thistles out of my hand and yelled, don't worry son after another 10 you won't feel the first un.

Another great video. Great seeing Abbi helping out. Ye seem to have a great father/daughter relationship. I see those trailers with the dolly in front are very common in England. Never see the likes over here. What baler did it contractor use? The edges of the bales....? I suppose some of it was short, but think the steamy stuff would have allowed them to fill out better?

If you gather them into one spot in the field while wrapping them the crows don't bother them much. Once they are left around the field the crows use them to pirch on while worm hunting.

@@FarmerP geez that's what I had my surgery for, prolapse c5-c6 and c6-c7 in the neck, was and still is pushing on my spinal cord and killed t b e nerves that run down my arm. Lost the feelings in 2 fingers and my thumb. They gave me a fusion and cage on the disc, and after 3 years of constant pain, just getting back to start my business up again and I may need the other one doing now😢🤒🤒🤒, so I really do sympathise especially when you have such a demanding life/job, I'm in speciality construction so again a job that beats your body up, I really hope your neck gets better soon pal. Your a legend💪💪💪💪
