you know, giving the deer glowing eyes would actually make sense when you have your lantern out. A lot of animals have eyes that reflect light and it would be both spooky and useful from a gameplay perspective to have a pair of glowing eyes wandering around in the darkness. Especially since they don't need to be very big, which would still mean that you'd have to be vigilant and/or keep track of where the deer is to not be ambushed randomly. I like the aesthetic of this game, though I'm personally not a huge fan of playing horror games myself. Especially since I deliberately play farming games to chill.

sorry, but what is a wendigo??
@Slinky_Loki1967 Жыл бұрын
@@IsaacPatersonIt's a creature from Native American folklore (specifically Navajo, if I'm remembering right). They're usually people who've eaten human flesh and turned into a kind of monster, but the deer head is more of a recent internet addition from what I understand. It's a pretty nuanced topic in regards to what is and isn't a wendigo and how one becomes a wendigo so I'd recommend looking up some videos on the difference between wendigo and skinwalkers if you're interested.
@SuperAngelfish9 Жыл бұрын
not a wendigo, they don't have horns or look like deer at all, that's a common misconception in media portayals. Skinwalker or Notdeer, or maybe a mix of both.
@Cobalt360Degrees Жыл бұрын
@@Slinky_Loki1967 W-----go are primarily from folktales of the First Nations in the northern US and basically all of central and northeastern Canada, since it's primarily from Algonquin-speaking nations, as well as some Cree-speaking. It's one of the reasons most Western modern media interpretations of it choose to include fur and deer antlers (even though traditional descriptions of them don't have those details); they're thematically tied to the cold months when resources are scarce and cannibalism is the most threatening.

They could have it. You escape the first Island farm, with a smoking boat and it hits somes rocks and you end up at a bigger island. With other animals chasing you. And different jobs for you to do. The boat needs other stuff fixing as well as the engin. But when you die you get the choose the island you want to start from. This could go on for about 4 islands until you get to the 5th island and you have to fix a light plane. Whe you fix it theplane takes you home.
@IronDino Жыл бұрын
I think two things that could improve this game. 1. A bit more guidance from the crow (a hint and some help at the start of each day, but after the fifth you find its corpse) 2. Improve the effect of the lanterns at night (providing a bit more light to navigate by, but perhaps at the cost of expending more fuel)
@Imagin8io Жыл бұрын
I would also add to either decrease the spawn rate of sticks/twigs/caps or increase the value of crops. Being able to sell twigs & sticks for a better price than the crops you harvest just makes it more lucrative to just run around collecting and selling those instead of even growing crops XD
@Pihsrosnec Жыл бұрын
@@Imagin8ioto be fair I'd say that it's still more profitable to harvest crops, especially when the resources don't despawn so there's no incentive to spend all your time collecting them instead of just doing one big collection at the start of the second day

Max power, and it barely shows half the garden plots... like come on, you have the night be *a void* - Shadows being monsters, not a bad idea, but i do think the candles are a little odd, when the clowns do a good job at already keeping the player busy during the night. Dont really need another counter to kill the player in the home

honestly the candles are good, they don't let the player just camp in the house and makes them go out more, i'd rather get rid of the clown
