he looked a little bit choked up at some point but it still is not enough. He doesn't even look remorseful. Damn. I guess I was just loved by my father that my heart cried out for her. She matured so early because her father is not acting as the pillar that he was supposed to be. tbh, I agree with what the lady is saying, that the father was using him as a crutch and once she leaves, he'll self destruct. He doesn't realize how much he regressed because her daughter is very reliable. It makes me angry that too much was already on the girl's shoulders. She's just 17 turning 18 in international age..I bet she's been through this since she was young.

the fact that Gong Myung cried (so badly) showed that he is so empathetic, even towards people he didn't know, never met or maybe will never see them again. Too many people nowadays have mastered the art of sympathy but empathy is something hard to learn, to develop in a person. It is rare to still see a person, let alone a celebrity (that are able to change the perspective of many As they have fans and are popular --sometimes fans tend to follow their footsteps) to have some empathetic heart, able to understand and feel what others are feeling. This is so unique and rare in the society nowadays. I know the main topic today is about the girl but I think I should also clarify that we as a person, although are much more lucky than many others, should be able to understand, feel and truly know the feelings and hardships of others. Eliminate the judgemental thoughts and be a decent person. =)

Although I appreciate the sentiment behind this comment, you have your definitions mixed up. Sympathy, as Audrey Hepburn once said, “is being able to place yourself in someone else’s shoes.” While empathy is “already having been in their shoes.” (Not word for word.) Empathy cannot be a skill because a person can only develop empathy when they have experienced the same situation. What you refer to as being able to “understand” and “feel” is sympathy. The “truly know” part is empathy.

Sympathy is being able to say "Oh, I'm so sorry you'r experiencing that" whereas empathy is essentially experiencing the same emotions as that person, whether or not you have experienced the same situation. It goes beyond just sympathizing with a person because you are understanding their emotions on a deeper level and sharing those emotions with them. Sympathy is "I see you are suffering and I care about it" and empathy is "I see you are suffering and I feel your suffering with you."

+azra zelea he looked like it, like he wants to shake the father vigorously to wake him up and make him realize his mistakes. that 'what's wrong with you' is testament enough. Knowing how Koreans value politeness, that tone from a young man to an elderly wouldn't pass but the fact that all of them agreed just shows how frustrated they all are. you can also see it in all the hosts and the other guests, especially the parents. Dong yeop is normally jovial but you can see him gritting his teeth here, like everyone else.

Coincidentally, my dad came into my room when watching this, he literally patted my hair and asked me what I'd like to eat while studying. I feel terrible for her. She's missing so much. Seeing her parents fight, get divorced and now get neglected and treated like that. I broke into harder tears. A daughter like her deserves much more. Why birth a child when you can't take care of her. He's such an asshole, I see no remorse in him while she's crying her eyes out.

I was so frustrated and I cried a lot watching this, My bio dad did not drink but he was addicted to drugs and he said very awful things to me . At first all he did was call me names and belittle me but overtime he became worse. I was lucky though because I was able to get out of that situation early and then I was adopted by a single father and he showed me that the way I was living wasn't living. Sadly my adopted dad died about 5 years ago(I was 9) I'm 14 now and I have a new family but nobody could ever replace my adopted dad because he showed me how to live and he showed me how to have fun and let go of the past.He showed me Happiness 😊 💕 R.I.P Johnny J. She a strong girl. Simple thing, really but I remember being pissed of my dad when I call him to pick me from school because I was sick. I had to wait for almost 2 hours because he thought I was my sister. He drive from his workplace to my sister place and back to my school. He was so busy with his work, he didn't bother to look at the caller name and just drive straight ahead without a second thought.....Such an ingrate daughter I am when this girl had a dad that dare to say of how is that his problem when her only daughter is sick.
