He doesn't realize how much he regressed because her daughter is very reliable. It makes me angry that too much was already on the girl's shoulders. the fact that Gong Myung cried (so badly) showed that he is so empathetic, even towards people he didn't know, never met or maybe will never see them again. Too many people nowadays have mastered the art of sympathy but empathy is something hard to learn, to develop in a person. It is rare to still see a person, let alone a celebrity (that are able to change the perspective of many As they have fans and are popular --sometimes fans tend to follow their footsteps) to have some empathetic heart, able to understand and feel what others are feeling. This is so unique and rare in the society nowadays. I know the main topic today is about the girl but I think I should also clarify that we as a person, although are much more lucky than many others, should be able to understand, feel and truly know the feelings and hardships of others. Eliminate the judgemental thoughts and be a decent person. =)

Empathy cannot be a skill because a person can only develop empathy when they have experienced the same situation. What you refer to as being able to “understand” and “feel” is sympathy. The “truly know” part is empathy.

Knowing how Koreans value politeness, that tone from a young man to an elderly wouldn't pass but the fact that all of them agreed just shows how frustrated they all are. you can also see it in all the hosts and the other guests, especially the parents. Dong yeop is normally jovial but you can see him gritting his teeth here, like everyone else.

Coincidentally, my dad came into my room when watching this, he literally patted my hair and asked me what I'd like to eat while studying. I feel terrible for her. She's missing so much. Seeing her parents fight, get divorced and now get neglected and treated like that. I broke into harder tears. A daughter like her deserves much more. Why birth a child when you can't take care of her. He's such an asshole, I see no remorse in him while she's crying her eyes out.

I was so frustrated and I cried a lot watching this, My bio dad did not drink but he was addicted to drugs and he said very awful things to me . At first all he did was call me names and belittle me but overtime he became worse. I was lucky though because I was able to get out of that situation early and then I was adopted by a single father and he showed me that the way I was living wasn't living. Sadly my adopted dad died about 5 years ago(I was 9) I'm 14 now and I have a new family but nobody could ever replace my adopted dad because he showed me how to live and he showed me how to have fun and let go of the past.He showed me Happiness 😊 💕 R.I.P Johnny J. It's not just the emotional neglect, but the fact that the parents fight openly in front of the daughter and the father doesn't understand what that does to kids. I know she's 18 (19 in Korean age) and is a legal adult, but her father's been like this for years. She had to grow up with someone distant and detached from her. That's tough. i just came back after watching nct on hello counselor where they talked to doyoung about gong myung crying and honestly now that i see it for myself i realize he's really sweet and thoughtful i understand now why doyoung is such a gentleman and sweetie

I just turned 16 a month ago got my first job at 15 took care of 3 of my younger siblings (feeding bathing buyig clothes toys taking them to school) I always tried to be the strong one my mom was abusive and scary it got to a point whete I wouldnt even let her look at my siblings when she was mad because I knew she would hurt them and now im 16 and my siblings are safe somewhere elses and although it makes me sad I cant watch them grow up like before im happy knowing they are safe and being loved. I truly feel this girls pain its hard raising yourself almost your whole like having to worry about school and grades studying while also having to worry about how the rest of the day will play out. It sucks not getting the parental love we need but it just makes us stronger. This girl will go places she wont give up when things get hard because shes been through worse and I have mad respect for her still being by her father. I hope shes happy and healthy meets a great man and gets a great job she deserves only the best.

Watching my tears won't stop. I feel so sorry for her,, the father doesn't seems to care or regret ,his face stays the same...for a father like that, she's better without him.

I feel like this is one of the only episodes where the hosts actually show that they care. Normally they just laugh things off but they actually seemed to care and that's so refreshing, because I hate watching this knowing that they're normally only there to get their name out.

I don't usually cry when watching this type of episodes but when the girl cried, I can't help but burst into tears. Her father is so cruel.
