I cannot believe they didn't get a golden buzzer. Not to diss on singers in any way shape or form, but that is a "God given talent", where as Dancing requires an entirely different level of dedication to develop. Definitely Talent is involved as well. But the physicality of what they did, the coordination, the proprioception, the movement skills, the timing, even just the breath (also very important in singing) just so much training and effort. Its just a whole other level. This was spectacular. I think the opening scene of LALA LAND is a similar level of coordination on a larger scale.

Dane Bates is a phenomenal creative. A talented and driven artistic director with a versatile dream team of dedicated performers that told the story so so beautifully that it brought me to tears. The story is so poignant for many right now as we see Russia go head to head with Ukraine. What a touching tribute and a sharp reminder how fleeting and fragile life is.
