"A Fear Of Escalation" | British Tanks Thought To Be Involved In Russia Incursion

Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer and Colonel Richard Kemp react to British Challenger 2 tanks being thought to have been used in Ukraine’s surprise incursion into Russia.
It comes after the Government confirmed Kyiv was free to use UK weapons in its offensive in Kursk oblast.
The Ministry of Defence refused to comment for “operational” reasons but Sky News reported a UK source as saying that the battle tanks had been deployed by Ukrainian soldiers.
The Government said there had been no change in policy since the green light was given for UK weapons - with the exception of Storm Shadow missiles - to be used on Russian soil as part of Ukraine’s self-defence efforts.

Russia always wanted peace! Russia never wanted to engage Ukraine, but NATO/CIA trained, armed and tasked Ukrainian Nazi soldiers with the extermination of pro-Russian Ukrainians for the sole purpose of forcing Putin's hand into war. Even throughout the war, but the Ukrainians walked out once the Russian met the specific condition to get away from Kyiv. Look at the Minsk agreements, they were nothing by a tactic to give Ukraine more time to prepare for war. It's all in Ukraine's peoples hand, they should force Zelensky out and elect someone who won't be a western puppet, but a man of integrity if such a man exist in Ukraine, someone who wants peace, who wants Ukraine to be free to be its own nation without foreign interference.

Ukraine sought to capture the Kursk nuclear power station. It failed. It is akin to the Battle of the Bulge. All it will succeed in doing is lose its best soldiers and material. It’s a stupid move!

there was a field marshal called zhukov, germanys had russia well and truely, zhukov poured russian troops along with hundreds of tanks and surrounded them, not many germans lived to tell the tail but it didnt stop there, zhukov moved his troops all the way to berlin, people do not learn from history, ukraine may get a right nasty shock here

The Kursk adventure might have paid off if its objectives had been more limited, but if they press on it will lead to disaster. The wisest thing for the ukes to do is withdraw in good order while they still can. It hasn't forced Putin to withdraw troops from other fronts, but we can be pretty sure he is preparing a devastating riposte which will soon be unleashed. It reminds me of the Battle of the Bulge, and will end the same way or worse if the ukes are not careful.

The only thing that surprises me about all this is that Putin, once thought to be super efficient and hard, hasn't responded in the ways we all thought. Let's be honest here, before Ukraine we had all heard of the Russian forces and the image was one of super soldiers with great tech. We had heard of weapons that could level a whole battlefield but hardly any of it has been used. I can only imagine threats from the USA has some what lowered his playing cards?
