In south Africa, we have both the options baked bean this you guys are cooking, we boil and the braise it with onion.... You such a caring couple I also love @The Bichangas

Our preference is dried beans in the Caribbean, we soak the beans over night, ( u can also put some baking soda in the water when soaking beans )so it's soft and takes lest time to cook

Anaika is a good cook for sure! Love your type of food. Here we most of the time boil all kinds of beans and don’t use the ones in jars. The dried ones have much more taste, in my opinion.

It was so good of you to cook for and deliver food to your friends when they are unwell. I cook and use both dried beans and canned beans depending on the time I have. Canned beans are a convenience but I also like using dried beans when I make soup. I used to soak them overnight but now I have a pressure cooker. 🙌🙌🙌

Talk to Sylvia about the pressure cooker ,you use less gas ,as long as you soak the beans overnight the next day it takes five minutes to cook in the pressure cooker

Good Evening.. I am in the US. Beans are usually bought dry in a bag, soaked overnight, and boiled. I love beans. I have not tried Chapati but it reminds me of something we eat called Tortillas. In my race specifically I was raised eating cornbread with beans. It can be baked or fried in cooking oil. Thank you for great content!

We have all different kind of beans in America we have canned and package if i am in a hurry i use canned and i drain and wash then cook with them but i prefer dried beans which i soak and before cooking i like how you explain what you are flavoring with can go back and look at video and try it thanks

Hi , you need a pressure cooker ,Sylvia knows them because she is from the US or a slow cooker which need electricity ,but i were yold by someone who did culinary art ( which is cooking ) when cooking beans do not let the beans keep jumping in the pot ,keep the flame very low ,and time the beans ,the beans need to stay put ,remember is the steam that cook food not high flames

You should get pressure cooker to help you In boiling the beans .using gas can sometimes be costly when boiling dried beans

Guys luv watching you cook, its funny as a Jamaican the way you season your food is quite similar and at the same time given me some of your country dishes. Good that you guys look out for each orher Just a thought i noticed when you and Sylvia cook the dog stands so close to the cooking area. Think its a bit dangerous because you could trip over the dog with a pot etc as you can forget it's there and cause a serious accident, please be careful.

I’m my country we have a variety of beans in cans and as well as dried. However, we soak them and pressure cook the dried ones for saving time. They are also more flavorful when dried or fresh

Im from Canada 🇨🇦 it depends on what kind of meal I’m having. If I’m making soup I’ll throw dried beans into the pot, but if I’m making a bean salad or something I’ll just open cans of beans🙃 PS maybe it’s a common thing for you guys, but be careful of giving Snow raw meat - it sounds surprising, but a lot of domestic dogs can’t handle raw meat and it can make them ill
