Hmmm maybe! I think you’d enjoy the feminist perspective and it is an interesting family history. It sure gets dark though, which I didn’t expect, but you would be now.

this sounds like my cup of tea - though two ppl round a campfire narration is one of my favs so i might get annoyed if it gets messed with lol i imagine reading about Hong Kong under occupation historically resonates with contemporary stuff too, so curious to see how it's handled...
