Sounds brilliant. It doesn't seem like it's available in the UK yet which is probably for the best for my focus on reading what I own 😅 Have made a note of it to consider for 2024 (far more organised than I am usually)

Ah yeah, the classic CanLit siloing. It is through Harper collins though, so it’s true it might get a release date elsewhere. They’re pretty big. I hope you like it if you get to it! I’m trying to read more of the stuff I own too!

That part was a bit weird, yeah, I’m guessing it’s some kind of Chinese supernatural entity that makes the whole thing happen, but I was pretty happy when it segued directly into historical fiction aspect. It isss pretttty odd at the start, it’s true
