Hey Janelle great video hope you had a great christmas and Happy New Year. Just wanted to tell you when you are in Japan and shopping for material after careful research I purchased a pair of Kai 7230 scissors they are made in Japan and let me tell you they were the best purchase of my trip. they slide through material like you wouldnt believe they cost about $49 Australian dollars. Yes, Christmas in winter is ok, but I prefer NewYear in summer. Much more fun to celebrate. At 5 o’clock in the afternoon it is already dark and its freezing outside, brrrrrr....... I wish you a happy New Year. 😘 🥂

Thanks so much! They were both bought from Spotlight (Australian craft store), but simplicity and McCall’s have some great patterns at the moment, I’m sure you could browse them on their websites 😊

Thanks so much! Yes a lot of the things I sew are my own drafted pattern. I use commercial patterns too, but find they are often difficult to get the sizing right so I prefer to just make my own 😊

30SPF is 99% effective and anything over is used as a amrketing scheme to make you spend more on higher SPF even though its unnecessary

Haha probably true, but I still feel I burn more when I use anything less than 50SPF and it’s pretty much the same price where I live anyway!
