Whenever I get triggered with myself with the imposter syndrome, I think of what the narrator said in Fight Club. "Everything is a copy of a copy of a copy." All the art that has been created has been an inspiration from something. Not everyone can barf up anything that original so abruptly. You need to know yourself more before you can discover what you're capable of. Like you said. Copy and practice. Then try to discover what speaks to you above all else.

I think every artist goes through art block. Sometimes it's hard to get out of it and I have seen so many people just stop creating because they aren't inspired. Sometimes you just have to push through until you get your groove back :)

It is happening to me rn I haven't been seriously inspired and motivated to draw or paint since like the beginning of 2020 it all went down since there, I believe it is bcs I've been mentaly not stable and these past 2 years were the worst of my life so like it really kinda broke me inside and it turned/turns me into someone I'm not, but I'm currently trying to get into that place i was with drawing so hopefully I get better..

All the masters have expressed how they built their style based on 'the masters' of their time. Why folks now would think that taboo confuses me. I am learning from the masters and that means I use the techniques they did at 'add your timeline' the art was popular. I am learning a TON by studying and utilizing their techniques, brush strokes and color to find my style. Wonderful video! I feel stronger knowing my path is correct!

Try building your canvas stretches with the staples set in at an angle when you staple the sides.I don’t get to paint canvas’ but I do stretch as part of my job and we try to angle them.
