oh i wish id sern this last week when l was struggling to make a 50th wedding anniversary card, l loved the gold embossed on the black and l have the same or very similar stamp. Also thank you to whoever it was that asked to see the whole process, its so helpful to see warts and all. 😅 end results stunning as always, thank you christine for passing on your tips, the prit stick is a gem of an idea. If you watch the video back you will ser the die moved on the stamped sentiment before you started cutting, so frustrating that l couldn't just call out and tell you. 😅😅

Just now watching this video from a year ago. The card is lovely. One hint I’ve found helpful for stamped diecuts is to cut the shape first then put a piece of scrap paper in the stamping platform and stamp your image on that. Then being careful not to move the stamped image, layer the negative of diecut over the stamped image and put your diecut into the negative hole. It comes out perfectly every time. It’s also great if you’re making multiples of the same image.

@janetcurtis701 Жыл бұрын
@@Chrissieannie that’s similar to the process I use except that I secure a piece of scrap paper in my platform, stamp the image on that, then position the “jig” over the image and put my diecut into the jig. I’ve had better luck with that rather than putting the stamp into the jig. Sometimes I find that the photopolymer stamps tend to stick to my finger so it’s hard to prevent them from moving before I get them onto the door of my platform. That seems to be more of a problem when the stamp is very small. I do love your videos. You have such beautiful ideas.

Christine I’m a newbie and love your Chanel. I like simple cards I think yours are elegant. But I wish you would list your measurements and supplies below your videos. Like where to get the magnet tweezers your dies etc. I’m not a newbie to card making just to your Chanel. Thanks so much.

I’m glad you like my videos.. I’m not really understanding that people want to know things about what I use… I don’t necessarily use things that are still being produced and so couldn’t give info on where to get them, I think people might prefer me to spend my time on actually making the videos and not stalking through websites to find where products might be sourced… this would vary from continent to continent of course. You mentioned the magnetic tweezers I believe I mentioned that they were from Crafters Companions I also got some with my Spellbinder’s Glimmer hot foil machine… I don’t know where you live but you should be able to find them somewhere online. I’m on holiday for a couple of weeks at the moment so don’t want to spend too much time online. I hope this helps a little 😃

I can’t remember that I was upset or who it did/said something “not very kind”…Therefore, I find I’m always happy and never upset by anyone longer than 5 minutes (or less if I’m busy)…😂 All in all I believe it’s a good trade off.

Ruth Standefer here again. I had to make the musical butterfly birthday card for a dear friend that plays a harp. Also love the thanks card that was a slim line card. I making it tomorrow.
