In summary: - A few: neutral (fact) for countable nouns - Few: negative (disappointment) connotation for countable nouns - A little: neutral for uncountable nouns - Little: negative connotation for uncountable nouns

For countable nouns:- A few (positive feeling)😊 Few (negative feeling) 😢 I have a few books of English 😊 I have a few books of English 😢 For uncountable nouns :- A little ( positive feeling)😊 little (negative feeling)😢 There is a little water in the bottle😊 There is little water in the bottle😢

I found two mistakes in my student's speech. I wrote an email to her like this: Dear Ana, well done! I found just few mistakes in your speech." Then, after watching this video I changed my sentence: "Dear Ana, I found just a few mistakes in your speech"...Do you suggest this last one or maybe simply: "Dear Ana, I found a couple of small mistakes in your speech." Thanks a lot! :)

What is the difference between these expressions: - quite a few - quite a little (is there such expression?) - quite a number of - quite a lot - quite a lot of - quite a bit of - quite a bit - quite a while Is there any similar expressions? Could you list all of them? Could you explain the difference between with preposition OF and without and the difference between with word QUITE and without? Thank you in advance.

A little/ little that she explained are quantifiers but "little" can also be used as an adjective. e.g. I have a little daughter. (In this sentence, "little" is an adjective (= young).
