Renewable energy has been politicized, that's why. But once you see those free electrons flowing in and the dollars staying in your pocket, it's impossible to deny the benefits. I have 20kW of grid-tied solar at my house and I do 95% of my miles on my EVs and keep the gas car for super-long-haul road trips. Not to mention I offset 100% of my household's entire electrical usage per annum, including car transportation. On a different note, the '96 Wanderlodge WB didn't suit our family's needs and is being sold in the near future, and we pick up a 2007 Monaco Dynasty Palace III this coming Saturday. Keep the excellent videos coming, they're much appreciated.

You make a convincing argument. I haven't even started my solar power journey as my unit didn't come with it (bought used, I believe the original cable, but no panel, is sitting on the roof behind the A/C.) I'd have to start from scratch to understand it all and since we're currently stable with 110 power it hasn't yet made its way onto the To Do list. Thanks, James!!

I tend to believe that because the solar set up in general is a little daunting, we tend to make arguments around its justification. I believe solar is the way to go but most rigs are not designed for easy set up and also the cost of the equipment. Love your videos!!!

Yep, that's why I have 1500 watts on the roof and 800 AH of lithium batts.

I’ve Boondocked 3 days on 2 100ah lithium batteries in the second best coach ever made, my Phoenix cruiser 2100. I am waiting for battle born batteries to finish their generator replacement kit that’s a prototype so I can get that for the 2nd best Rv ever made 😂
