If I had any recurring issue with this band it isn't their material it is in the production aspect. Now with a singer like Alex terrible, of course you want that right up front and just pushing through but I never really can latch on to any of Slaughter to prevails riffs as memorable to me. The grooves of the band as a whole are absolutely apocalyptic and really crushing but I just do not hear the articulation in the Rifts and I think it's a volume issue I came up on bands like more of an angel, diced, obituary and older metal maiden, priest Etc where the guitar is God and so I'm not saying I don't like this, because I do. I just have a memorability issue, or it could be just not a thousand years old who knows

I'm surprised you didn't get to this one earlier. When I saw the band last April, this was the 2nd to last song of the night, just ahead of Demolisher, with Bonebreaker as the opener of the night. The new song Viking was somewhere in the middle, it wouldn't come out as a single for at least another month. You said you'd see them in May? I've got Lacuna Coil coming here in mid May, then I have Kamelot with Ad Infinitum near the start of the month.

Evgeny crushes it on the drums. Ouroboros is still probably my favorite song from them, but I'd recommend checking out either Bonebreaker or Bratva from the Moscow concert just to see some live footage too. These guys are so much fun live.
