I wrote to them both while they were doing this, and were in the Westend at the same time, I wrote to tell them how much I loved this, never expecting a reply, but got a beautiful letter from them both!! It was the one and only time I did anything like that! Sadly over the years with all the moves I’ve made I’ve lost that letter, and was sad when Michael passed away, but still have a very soft spot for Dame Jude! ❤😊

Stephamie Yes in the first episode everytime Mike picks up his drink the coaster kept sticking to his glass bottom And except for the first episode it always happens to him It's a running joke through the whole series Mike ( Michael Williams) and Laura (Judi Dench) were married to each other in real life From 1971 until 2001 when he passed away

Agree 100 . Bob Larbey destroyed it. Completely. The last one I watched was in S / 3, the woman pouring water on Mike's head. She became insufferable , and he had zero self esteem.
