Sometimes doing a weekly vlog is a lot easier than a daily one. And here in America we call that a water catchment system or a water collection system. It's good to see you guys back making videos again and thanks for sharing.

We are hoping to get a second large tank this size (we hope to use one for irrigation and the other to flush toilets), and then a third one which is about a third the size for drinking water storage... but one step at a time :D

Wow that fire was a beast. So glad you two made it safely home. Now that water drum is a HUGE. wont be running out of watter with that fella. So glad you guys are back.

It's a 2200 liter tank, we hope to get it connected to the bathroom toilet. That should save some water every month. We have an asbestos tile roof so we are not sure if the rainwater coming off it will be okay for drinking.

Ugh those fires! We recently had a couple here in California! Hope they’re under control now! Glad you’re back!

They are all out, but summer hasn't hit yet and we have a feeling that there are going to be more fires on the way. Our firefighters are amazing. It is not a job that either of us would choose but we are so grateful to the men and woman who help in times of crisis.

Sooooooooooooooooooo Happy the vlogs are BACK!!!! So sad about the fires :(. We have had our fair share in our combined Cape areas this year, haven't we? If you need any advice on the water tank, Dad has got something like 5 on his property, so is well experienced in installing them LOL!
