hey tanner! my brother and I race at KSP all the time in the 305 class. turns 3 & 4 are tricky because you want to set the car up to smooth roll through but that also takes away from a fast 1 & 2

Take aways: Getting Carly to work for Shark last year with you was awesome for your team, that girls work ethic is never in question, same for your pops too, that man gets moving quick… even Jessica filming everything went great. Your positive attitude never fails even when it’s not your night. Your 2024 racing season could have started off stronger, but it’s a long season and it’ll be your night eventually….

Sorry you had another car take you out of the race Tanner but for us watching on, we had a chance to see how fully involved and respected Carly is within your team. Man, Carly was on fire and in there like a shot undoing bolts, shouting orders, knocking off the old wing and fitting the new one. That broken foot of hers was never going to get in her way. I got a mini story about a blackout at a track near me that happened a few years ago.... I was at Selinsgrove Speedway here in Pennsylvania. There was a blackout in that area. Because they didn't have power at that moment, they asked the local fire department to bring a brush truck there because they had a bullhorn to announce the cancelation of that night's program. When I tell you that it was dark, it was DARK!! Only the LEDs of the brush truck were lit up. Maybe some car lights. Thankfully, nobody was on track or in staging to get on track at the time the power went out.

Why does this look like the track that was shut down? Because I thought that Cowtown Speedway was shut down, yet this looks like the track I been to before. I see the 1/3 mile drag strip is no longer there either!

@@brianeast9081 Yes I recall that was the case, Kennedale looks like what I remember Cowtown layout looked like. Now with it appearing that the drag strip is no longer there, along with the area looking much different than when I last looked, or when I was there last in 2002. Obviously a lot has changed since the last time I was there.

What a beautiful facility and i love the shoot coming out onto the racetrack. I hate things went crazy, but i guess thats part of racing. Also i see the DJI mics and i have those and i noticed if you put the deadcat that comes with em on it especially if you are outside it helps with some of the echo from the wind.

Well since this was the first night in basically a brand new car ya it sucks to have it end the way it did but to look on a brighter side we all know that it couldve been a heck of a lot worse. Man Carly without a boot on her owey foot still taking charge and gets stuff done. That's Amazing. Not the best first night of the season ever, but the car is basically in one piece and you are on to the next race. You made a lot of changes in the off season, it will take a few races to sort it all out. Nice to see the Drydene guys waiting for you in the work area to help out. Shows that you made a good impression last year while running for Shark Racing in Jacob's absence. Hope you are paying Carly well because with her work ethic and desire to make you successful, somebody is going to try to steal her for their crew. lol Good luck in 2024.

@@beliedat2457there was definitely passing nobody was able to catch Carson but like 2-5 was a battle all night and like 3 different cars had runs on macedo also It rained Friday and there was probably a lot of moisture in the track which could have led to the surface I’ll take a track like this over the big 1/2 miles like Knoxville,eldora, and the grove any day

@@muffinknight8101 ok cool I think it’s too small and no passing. I’d rather watch guys 4 wide myself. When you have to work 4 laps to pass a car you are infinitely faster than, the track is too small. I enjoy actual racing where there are 3/4 lanes of racing and banking. Not fighting for the bottom of the track because it’s THE ONLY fast lane.
