I’ve only done time in LA county. And I grew up in East LA and part of my life in south central . It’s been over 10 years since I moved out of the hood . I live in a good neighborhood now and have my life together finally, However I see people being disrespectful all the time at work or just going about my day , and it’s such a challenge not to say or do something . It’s battle everyday in my head with keeping it cool . People always think because I’m nice and friendly that I come from a good family and had a good childhood . When in reality It’s polar opposite. I went from being a kid living in a dope house then robbing people , car fishing , fighting anyone who had problems with me , kicking with the homies outside in the streets . And now a normal life in the suburbs, but goddamn , I do everything I can to not let the bad side of me come out when a little prick disrespects me It’s very challenging
