Fun fact, some species of ant can physically jump quite high for their size, and they can survive falls from almost any height. Their bodies cannot achieve a fatal terminal velocity.
@DarkWarriorZ71017 күн бұрын
Kinda like Trap-jaw ants.
@pcdeltalink03616 күн бұрын
This is a heck of a tangent for me but I remember learning about such things from an Animorphs book many years ago. I don't remember which one but they had morphed to cockroaches and one pointed out that they literally did not weigh enough to die to due falling.
@martinrolecek883716 күн бұрын
More fun facts ants can't freeze to death. Once thrif body temperaturd drops too low their system goes to hibernation until it's warms enough again.
@Rogers100016 күн бұрын

3:07 🐜 more fun facts.. just because I watched an ant farm video and got hooked 😂 queens and kings are born with wings for their nuptial flight to mate and after the female finds a safe place to start her colony which will all come from that one interaction between king and queen!! The queen then will eat her wings to make a soup to feed her first set of babies which only live a few weeks!!! They have the very important job to search for food and water for the queen and new babies!! Each batch of babies get stronger and they’ll have workers, majors, super majors!! Ants are actually kinda cool! Just not as cool as Fooster of course 😎
@ramtigerfalcon838717 күн бұрын
More facts. The majority of Ants seen are primarily female. The queen CHOOSES the type of ant produced including its size , sex, functionality and whether or not it had wings. Ants have 2 stomachs. One communal one personal.
