You're so kind, Abigail! It is fun to see my growth along the way. I think that's one of the many benefits of the bullet journal.

Thank you, Suzie! I'm no artist, but I'm learning to let go and make mistakes and sometimes things turn out better than I'd hoped.

I just started a bullet journal. This is a great vid, I love it.

Thank you, Firuza! I watched a ton of videos when I started my bujo and they were both helpful and inspiring. Enjoy the journey!

Really enjoy your take on bullet journaling. Mine is more 'functional' but I want to step it up and you have some great ideas I will try. Many thanks from the UK x

Thank you, Jacqueline! There's beauty in the clean functional look, as well. I look at some of the clean, plain spreads out there and sometimes wish I didn't feel so compelled to dress my bujo up. But...art is a form of therapy for me. That's what I love--there's no right or wrong way to bujo.

As a man I just want to say, this is awesome and errr I need to go and lift some weights, tackle something and drink a Mtn Dew to recover, but the marks are permanent. Well done
@scatteredfashionista64438 жыл бұрын
Haha, thanks, Dar! My guy just laughs at the whole thing and wonders what I'm going to "color" next, but I'm more productive than ever before. Enjoy the weights-; the Mountain Dew...maybe. ;-)

Nice tour! I heard you say you track a lot of milage for your work - I do as well and I've been using the app MileIQ and it's really awesome! It uses the location feature on your phone and just tracks every time to drive somewhere and then logs the trip. You can then review all your drives and note them as personal or business and make any other notes and it logs not only the trip, mileage and approximate location, but the value of the travel! Anyway, thanks for giving a peek into your BUJO. Love your doodles

Yes, I gave MileIQ a try a while back. I think it was still early on because there were some serious bugs. I'll have to try it again now. Thanks! :-)

You are so kind, Random ;-> ! I'm learning. Discovering Zentangle in 2014 was the catalyst for my plunge into art and doodling. Have you tried it?
@RandomEggplant8 жыл бұрын
art and doodling or bullet journals? cuz i literally just discovered bullet journals today hahaha

with my artistic skills, im stuck with what's commonly used by my friends so im not creative enough :(
@scatteredfashionista64438 жыл бұрын
I hear you there, Random. I'm not so creative, but I'm a fabulous copier. Most of my ideas come from Instagram and Pinterest. There are some great artists on Instagram who do daily tutorials, like TheRevisionGuide.

Whoops! I missed the earlier comment from today. I started doing Zentangle long before I tried bullet journaling. Like you, art isn't really in my DNA but the desire is there. In this post, I share some ideas for looking like an artist: scatteredfashionista.com/2016/03/30/look-like-an-artist/ Random Eggplant

I really loved and surely gonna sub! your dailies are similar to Kera Benz. what I love the most was you give credit to the people and channels from you get the ideas, today I saw someone who was also using boho berry's ideas but didn't even mentioned her once, and the only time she did was like in neg way, which really put me off and I didn't sub or want to watch her things. So yeah I really loved this vid and will watch some more :)

Thank you so much! I do think it's important to give credit where credit is due. Kara was my original inspiration for a lot of layouts--she's got great ideas and good style. My new video setting up my second bullet journal will be out later this week. Enjoy!

Love this! How do you get everything to look so clean and the same? Do you use stamps, templets? Going explore all the added links Thanks for posting!!!

Thanks, Sylvia! (And sorry for the delay--I'm still learning where my KZbin notifications pop up!). Let's see...I use a ruler a lot. But otherwise I just practice my lettering before hand. Color and/or faux calligraphy are your best friend for hiding mistakes. I have a blog post all about looking like an artist when you're not--hopefully that will be helpful for you. :-) scatteredfashionista.com/2016/03/30/look-like-an-artist/

So, just curious, do you write down your tasks on weekly then again on daily? I’m trying to get the daily process down. I’m looking FNA video that goes through the working process more than the setup but most are about the setup.
